Mike Gordon is stepping into the spotlight this spring with a rare solo tour, announcing a 13-date run in March that will take him across the Northeast.

The tour kicks off March 13 in Woodstock, New York, and is scheduled to conclude March 29 in Burlington, Vermont. A fan presale begins Jan. 7, followed by a general on sale Jan. 9, with ticket details available through Gordon’s official site.

Fans attending the shows can expect a flexible, exploratory setlist. Gordon recently debuted a new solo band during a performance in New Orleans, featuring John Kimock, Robert Walter, Xavier Lynn, and Bob Wagner — a lineup that will anchor most of the March dates. Keyboardist Eli Winderman is also set to join for select mid-tour performances.

The group’s live shows blend songs from Gordon’s solo catalog, including Flying Games and Overstep, alongside carefully chosen covers and the occasional nod to Phish. Recent performances have included material by Little Feat, J.J. Cale, and Bob Dylan, highlighting the improvisational freedom Gordon embraces outside his main band.

In past interviews, Gordon has described his solo work as a creative outlet that allows him to experiment more freely with songwriting, technology, and live arrangements. While Phish remains a highly collaborative and finely tuned machine, Gordon says his solo shows give him room to test ideas and explore a wider range of musical directions.

Meanwhile, Phish remains as active as ever. The band recently wrapped up its traditional New Year’s run before heading to Mexico later this month for its annual Riviera Maya destination shows. A return to Las Vegas’ Sphere is also on the calendar, with all dates already sold out.
