The Next Generation of KISS: Stanley Simmons Debuts This December

Rock royalty is running in the family! Evan Stanley and Nick Simmons, the sons of KISS legends Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons, are teaming up to release their debut single as the duo “Stanley Simmons.” Their first track, titled “Body Down,” drops December 5, marking the official start of their new musical venture.

The pair shared the announcement on Instagram, writing: “It’s time. Our debut single Body Down is out December 5. A year ago, Stanley Simmons wasn’t even a thought. Now it’s everything. We’re incredibly proud of the record we’re making and stoked to share it with you all.” They went on to thank the team that helped bring the song and video to life.

Earlier this year, Evan hinted that more music was coming, teasing fans with, “One song turned into 10 real quick,” suggesting that a full album could be on the way.

Music clearly runs deep in the family. Evan, 31, fronts the rock band Amber Wild, who opened for KISS on their farewell End of the Road World Tour, while Nick, 36, is known as one half of the electronic duo Sym Fera.

Proud dad Paul Stanley has long supported their musical ambitions — last year, he even shared a clip of the brothers performing Simon & Garfunkel’s “The Sound of Silence.”

KISS officially wrapped their historic farewell tour in December 2023 after more than 250 shows across five continents. The band closed out with two nights at Madison Square Garden before announcing plans to continue as digital avatars.

With “Body Down,” the next generation of KISS is ready to take the stage — this time, under their own name.
