IRON MAIDEN Unveils 2026 North American Tour With MEGADETH & ANTHRAX

British heavy metal icons IRON MAIDEN are bringing their legendary Run For Your Lives world tour to North America in 2026, marking the band’s 50th anniversary with one of the largest stage productions in their history. The trek will hit stadiums and amphitheaters across the U.S. and Canada, featuring songs from the band’s groundbreaking first nine albums — a setlist packed with classics that defined the genre.

The tour will kick off August 29 in Toronto and wrap up September 29 in San Antonio, with stops in Boston, Los Angeles, Montréal, Hershey, and more. MAIDEN will also headline Louder Than Life Festival in Kentucky on September 17.

Joining them are fellow metal titans MEGADETH — who will appear at all dates on what’s billed as their final tour — and ANTHRAX, joining select major shows. “We’re thrilled to celebrate with friends who’ve shared the stage and the road with us before,” said bassist Steve Harris, promising fans “a show on a massive scale.”

Frontman Bruce Dickinson teased a setlist stacked with fan favorites, including Run to the HillsThe TrooperNumber of the Beast, and deep cuts like Rime of the Ancient Mariner and Seventh Son of a Seventh Son. “This feels like the ultimate birthday party — and we’re playing everything we grew up loving,” Dickinson said.

Manager Rod Smallwood confirmed that the band will bring their full arena-scale production outdoors, with stunning visuals, pyrotechnics, and the debut of Eddie’s Pop-Up Dive Bar — a fan experience previously exclusive to Europe. Fans can also expect Trooper Beer, exclusive merch, and the popular VIP Experience at every stop.

MAIDEN is also urging fans to limit phone use during concerts to preserve the live energy. “We want people to be in the moment, not watching through a screen,” Smallwood said.

This tour marks 45 years since IRON MAIDEN’s first North American run in 1981, solidifying their status as one of the most enduring live acts in heavy metal history.
