"Ripples & Reflections- Art on the Shenandoah"
(Woodstock, VA) Friends of the North Fork of the Shenandoah River is pleased to announce
the August opening of "Ripples & Reflections – Art on the Shenandoah," a month-long
invitational art show at Muse Vineyards. The free public opening from 4-6pm on Sunday,
August 7 will be followed by a ticketed “Wine on the Water” event from 6-8pm, including wine,
hors 'd oeuvres, and an artist reception.
"Ripples & Reflections" features invited artists exploring
the natural beauty of the Shenandoah River through
conservation and ecological themes in original works
through varied media, including painting, pottery,
sculpture, ceramics, and glass.
All artworks in the "Ripples & Reflections" exhibition are
available for purchase with 30 percent of sales donated
to Friends of the North Fork in support of their work to
keep the North Fork of the Shenandoah River clean,
healthy, and beautiful.
Featured artists include: Liz Karafa, Barbara Camph, Ellen Fairchild-Flugel, Kary Haun, Kathy
Kavanagh, Lynne Crumpacker, August Hoerr, Andrea Carracedo, Penelope Carroll, Debra
Cooper, Glenn Richardson, Diane Gould, Bahir al Badre, Helen Jean Smith, Brian Baker, Kay
Pierce, Laurel Vaughn, Jaz Draper, Nancy Ramsey, and Elaine Florimonte.

Tickets $35 per person, $50 per pair
Tickets include wine, light appetizers, and a

members.
