- Festival of Trees
- The Rockingham Harrisonburg SPCA has teamed up with a local animal advocacy group, Advocates for Valley Animals, to host a silent auction at the shelter this week to benefit their lifesaving Community Cat Program.
- The public is invited to come to the shelter (no appointment needed) to browse their conference room that is filled to the brink with festive items such as pre-decorated holiday trees, light displays, pet-themed stocking packages, grilling basket, holiday door mats, decadent wines, JMU basketball tickets, and so much more! There's really something for everyone on your list this year.
- People can bid at the shelter (2170 Old Furnace Rd. in Harrisonburg), or online on the event's group page at: https://www.facebook.com/groups/472994177380724.
Bidding ends this Saturday, 12/4, at 4pm when the shelter closes. Individuals will be notified over the weekend if they've won, and will be asked to pick up and purchase their item at the shelter on Monday, 12/6, if able
