The Shamrock 5K Trail Run is a low key event geared towards beginners and casual runners. This run typically takes place in Hillandale Park in Harrisonburg, VA. However, this year the race will be held virtually, so run anywhere you desire to complete the 5k within the specified time frame. What better way to celebrate the St. Patrick's Day time of year, with the completion of a 5K!
Registration is currently open on www.runsignup.com/Race/VA/Harrisonburg/Shamrock5KTrailRun and to guarantee your shirt size you must register by February 22.
The price of this virtual event is $15. All proceeds will once again benefit the Harrisonburg Cardinals (formerly the Shenandoah Valley High Rollers Wheelchair Basketball Team).
The race is to be run March 17-20.
The Packet Pick-up Drive-Thru will be held at the Cecil F. Gilkerson Community Activities Center in Westover Park on March 15th from 5pm-7pm and March 16th from 6pm-9pm.
