Guns N’ Roses are officially set to return to the U.S. in 2026. The band will kick off the Welcome to Rockville festival in Daytona Beach, Florida, headlining the May 7 opening night of the four-day event. This year’s lineup also includes main-stage sets from Foo Fighters, Bring Me the Horizon and My Chemical Romance.
The announcement follows the end of the group’s 2025 world tour, Because What You Want & What You Get Are Two Completely Different Things, which took them through Asia, Europe, and South and Central America. The tour introduced drummer Isaac Carpenter, who stepped in for longtime member Frank Ferrer. The run mostly went smoothly, though it did produce a viral moment caught on camera when Axl Rose tossed his microphone in frustration due to faulty in-ear monitors.
As for new music, the band isn’t offering much hope. Guitarist Slash recently told Guitar World that Guns N’ Roses have plenty of material but struggle with planning time to finish it. According to him, the group never succeeds when they try to schedule recording in advance, saying, “Every time we’ve done that, it falls apart.”
For now, only four festival appearances are booked for 2026 — Rockville in Florida, Tecate Pa’l Norte in Mexico, Monsters of Rock in Brazil, and Download Festival in England. Until any new songs arrive, fans can look forward to the upcoming vinyl reissue of Live Era ’87–’93, currently available for preorder.
