After a brief break from the spotlight, Foo Fighters are roaring back with a massive 2026 North American stadium tour— their first full-scale U.S. run since the passing of drummer Taylor Hawkins and the addition of Ilan Rubin (Nine Inch Nails) behind the kit.
The trek kicks off August 4 in Toronto and wraps up September 26 in Las Vegas, featuring stops in Chicago, Philadelphia, Vancouver, and Nashville. Rock heavyweights Queens of the Stone Age will open all shows except the Fargo, North Dakota date on September 12.
Frontman Dave Grohl says the tour celebrates “the genuine, human element of rock ’n’ roll,” emphasizing the band’s mission to reconnect with fans through raw, live performance energy. “We’ve been reminded why we love doing this,” Grohl said. “From rediscovering 30 years of music to welcoming Ilan behind the drums, we’re bringing everything we’ve got.”
The announcement came alongside the debut of “Asking for a Friend,” the band’s third new song of 2025. In a tongue-in-cheek teaser video, Foo Fighters poked fun at AI-generated music, vowing to deliver only “real, raw, human rock.”
Fans can register for presale tickets now through October 26, with general sales opening October 31 via the band’s official website.
