The first official trailer has dropped for Sharon & Ozzy Osbourne: Coming Home, the upcoming BBC documentary chronicling the couple’s later years together.

Running just under two minutes, the trailer balances Ozzy’s trademark humor with heartfelt glimpses of life at home with Sharon. Originally conceived as the reality-style series Home to Roost in 2022 — when the Osbournes began planning their move from Los Angeles back to England — the project ultimately shifted into a feature-length documentary as Ozzy’s health struggles grew more pressing.

The trailer captures Ozzy’s excitement about returning to his homeland, sharing, “I’m so looking forward to an English summer.” Viewers also see playful moments like Sharon’s driving mishaps and Ozzy’s target practice, alongside candid reflections about aging. Sharon recalls telling Ozzy, “When you’re 70, we say goodbye,” while Ozzy admits he wants a quieter life — but not entirely.

Tender scenes highlight the couple’s enduring love, including Sharon revealing Ozzy still leaves her hidden notes around the house. The clip closes with the pair exchanging emotional messages and a kiss, underscoring the film’s intimate focus.

Sharon & Ozzy Osbourne: Coming Home will premiere on BBC One and iPlayer on Oct. 2 at 21:00 BST. The documentary had originally been scheduled to air in August but was postponed following Ozzy’s passing on July 22.
