Alice Cooper has expressed hope that the Oasis reunion will continue and advised the Gallagher brothers to avoid falling back into old conflicts. The 77-year-old rock icon admitted watching Liam and Noel Gallagher’s long-standing 15-year feud was “so stressful” and urged them to keep their peace for the sake of the band’s future.
Speaking to The Times, Cooper said, “Oasis… Good luck to them. Hope it lasts. The trick is you don’t divorce; you just separate. Watching those brothers is so stressful. Don’t squabble, guys. Stress is a killer.”
The Oasis Live ’25 Tour, which started in Cardiff on July 4, is set to conclude with two shows in São Paulo, Brazil, this November. Despite the reunion, Liam Gallagher recently emphasized taking things “one day at a time” when it comes to what lies ahead.
Oasis manager Alec McKinlay clarified that the current tour is likely the band’s final run and that there are no plans for new music. He told Music Week, “This is very much the last time around, as Noel’s made clear. It’s a chance for fans to see the band one last time, but no new music is planned.”
This announcement surprised many fans, with one questioning Liam on social media about the band’s future. Liam responded that he and Noel will make any decisions about Oasis together and stressed taking it one day at a time.
He also hinted at possible new collaborations, mentioning the potential for another album with John Squire, following their joint project last year. “I might do another album with John, who knows? I might join the spiritual space invaders, I might do nothing — that’s the groovy thing about the future, nobody knows,” Liam said.
