Cat Vs Tree: Harrisonburg Fire Department To The Rescue

Today Officer G. Bechtel received a call for a cat in a tree. Once seeing the situation, Harrisonburg Fire Department was most definitely needed. They responded, and hours of work ensued, the lion’s share being work by the fire department. We have a special relationship amongst first responders in our area. We all work together to make things happen. This cat was returned to her family safely.

You see this in movies and older TV shows, but I guess i didn't really think Fire services actually responded with a ladder truck and rescued a cat from a tree...but it does happen! Last week in Harrisonburg. Check out the post HERE with more photos.
