Chipotle Mexican Grill plans to give teachers more than a million dollars worth of free burritos.
The fast-casual chain is inviting students, parents, family members, and friends to nominate outstanding teachers for recognition and free food. Nominations are open through Friday on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram where people will need to tag their "favorite teacher" and leave a comment about the teacher's impact.

How did it take the folks at Wendy's this long to realize people like sugar-on-sugar for breakfast?
Wendy's just announced they're adding their first SWEET breakfast item . . . French Toast Sticks you dip in syrup.
They added a bunch of breakfast sandwiches when their breakfast menu launched two years ago. But they're all more savory than sweet.
French Toast Sticks hit their menu next Monday, August 15th, just in time for back-to-school season. So kids are probably their target market.
They'll have four-piece and six-piece options, and a combo that comes with potato wedges and a drink.

Deliveries from restaurants have increased significantly in the last couple of years, but “Insider” spoke to several chefs and have compiled a list of foods to skip…because not all food travels well. Here’s a look:
- French Fries – have a very short shelf life and they get soggy really quickly.
- Omelets and Egg dishes – you’re better off making them at home
- Nachos – also get soggy and mushy.
- Smoothies – don’t maintain their consistency for very long.
- Ice cream – we all know it’s going to melt.
- Food with breaded coating – deep-fried foods loose their crunch.
- Grilled cheese – the cheese is likely to get cold and loose it’s ‘gooeyness’.
- Noodle soups – if the broth is packed separately these could be ok.
- Salmon – can continue to cook in transit, drying it out.
- Sandwiches with creamy fillings – tuna, chicken or egg salad sandwiches are better made at home.
