KAKE-TV: A Kansas Sedgwick County Jail inmate used fire and hemorrhoid cream to created a hole in a jail window to retrieve items from the outside. Items retrieved included electronics and marijuana.
The inmate said that a deputy at the facility saw him and did nothing to stop or report it.
During the investigation of the incident, the local sheriff's office did a sweep and found lots of contraband including 20 shanks, handcuff keys, drugs and a lighter. Apparently, the shanks were prep for a riot being planned.
