NBC news is reporting that a couple from Texas have been detained in Hawaii on charges of assuming the identities of two dead children and living as them for decades. They are being held on charges of identity theft, conspiracy to commit offenses against the U.S. and making false statements in passport applications and in the use of those passports. The alleged offenses were detailed in a complaint from a special agent with the State Department's Bureau of Diplomatic Security Service.
Photos have also arisen that shows the couple in what appears to be KGB uniforms from decades ago. Walter Glenn Primrose, a defense contractor and former U.S. Coast Guard avionics technician, and his wife, Gwynn Darle Morrison, have not been charged with any espionage related crimes
The couple is an alleged flight risk and are being accused of unreported trips to Canada. Primose has held secret clearance for several years and is required to report all foreign travel.
