The Fort Collins Police Department in Colorado helped a local dog owner, Patricia, get her beloved pit-terrier named Scholar back from a dog sitter who was refusing to return him. Patricia reportedly needed someone to watch her dog while she moved to a new house that would allow pets. She agreed to let a man named Jesse Beckwith look after Scholar, but when she tried to get Scholar back, Jesse refused to give her the dog and wouldn't return her calls. The Police Department's Facebook post asking for the public's help to locate Jesse seemed to do the trick, as he dropped Scholar off at the Humane Society. There's no word if charges will be filed.
