I-81 In Pennsylvania reopens after 50-60 vehicle pileup Monday

PennLIVE: Interstate 81 reopened early Wednesday morning nearly two days after a 50-60 vehicle pileup in Schuylkill County that left five dead and at least two dozen injured.

The northbound side of I-81 reopened around 1 a.m. between exit 107 to Tremont/Tower City, and exit 119 to Highridge Park Road. This section of highway — in Foster Township — shut down around 10:30 a.m. Monday, when the pileup occurred as a snow squall appeared, causing near white-out conditions. Read more HERE
