AARP Asking Members To Refrain From Sending Nude Photos

The AARP, that's the American Association of Retired People, has a bit of a cheeky warning for its members on Valentine's Day: Don't send nude photos to anybody. While that may not pertain to you...it actually pertains to lots of 50+ folks unfortunately, it's actually necessary right now as online scams begin to make the rounds.

It seems there are scammers who are meeting people in online chat rooms and begin with some friendly chatter. However, things turn sexy pretty quickly and the scammers then ask people to send them nude photos.

If the victim complies, the scammer then threatens all manner of embarrassing exposure unless they pay up. The best defense, just don't take nude photos of yourself; much less send them to anybody. That goes for Valentine's Day... or any day!
