Vince McMahon's second run at the XFL will begin officially on February 8th, when the Seattle Dragons take on the Washington Defenders on ABC. Yesterday they revealed what all of the team uniforms would look like, giving players and fans a first look at what we can expect in February. Honestly, they're not bad! There are some cool color combos, and the St Louis helmets are pretty sweet as well. Give them a look!
So our local-ish team in the XFL would obviously be the DC Defenders, and for some more local flavor, former JMU standouts Vad Lee and Khalid Abdullah are currently on the DC roster. They'll open the season in a game against the Seattle Dragons on February 8th.
Last week, the XFL unveiled their new, unique game balls. What's cool here is that each team will have specific color combo game balls. I'm not sure if teams will use only the game ball of the home team, or if teams will use their own, whenever they have the ball. They look good. Check'em out below.
