Led Zeppelin won a copyright lawsuit filed against them in 2016 by the estate of Spirit guitarist/songwriter Randy California claiming that the beginning of Zep's monster hit "Stairway To Heaven" was stolen from a song that Spirit performed called "Taurus." One of the reasons for the appeal was that jurors were never given the opportunity to hear the songs back to back to see if they felt there was enough similarity between the two.
