I'm a cyclist, and this is really one of my favorite times of the year, because the Tour de France is going on. Three weeks of some of the most incredible athletic performances you'll ever see, endurance, toughness, and drama. It really has it all! And this year, during stage 10, you got something even more...a mountain biker named Alexis Bosson making a huge jump OVER the riders as they passed. He and his friends worked to build a ramp to make the jump possible, and very carefully coordinated the stunt. It lasted only a few seconds, but was seriously one of the coolest things I've ever seen during the race. I don't even know if riders in the peloton knew he was flying over their heads as they pedaled through. You can read more on the planning and execution of the jump HERE
Check out the jump from Alexis' point of view.
