Previously Unheard Scott Weiland Demo "Pretty Mess"

Interesting sound from Scott Weiland on this one. This was one of the demos for his first solo album in 1998 "12 Bar Blues." "Pretty Mess" didn't end up making the cut, and until just recently hadn't really been heard by much of anyone. Apparently this song was later offered to Gerri Halliwell, one of the Spice Girls, for her solo album, but she decided not to go with it either. I'd say it's not what you expect a song from Weiland to sound like, but that guy worked so many different styles into his music, the unexpected was really what you DID expect from him. I'm still bummed that he's gone. An incredible artist.
