Pace Car Crashes On Warm Up Lap at Detroit Grand Prix

This poor guy. There is no way you're going to live down crashing the pace car when you walk into work the next day. General Motor Executive Vice President Mark Reuss was piloting the pace car, instead of the usual pace car driver, and it did not go well. Basically, they were coming out of the first turn of the opening warm up lap when Reuss maybe got a little too excited on the gas pedal, and lost control of the ZR1, which is said to be valued at somewhere around $150,000.00 I'm sure he's making some serious bank, so even if it comes out of his paycheck it won't hurt him too much. I'd be more embarrassed that it happened on national television. Get more on the story HERE
