You've gotta be big to be an offensive lineman in the NFL...like 300 plus pounds big. You don't get to be that size by watching what you eat. Recently retired NFL lineman Joe Thomas, who played his whole career with the Cleveland Browns, says he was eating up to 4200 calories a day on off days to maintain the size it took to make him one of the best, most durable lineman in NFL history. Before suffering a triceps injury that took him out last season, Joe had played a record 10,363 consecutive snaps on the O-Line during his 11 year career.
