Duff McKagan Reveals New Song, Album Release Date

Duff McKagan has released a second single from his upcoming solo album, Tenderness, and revealed the full-length's release date.

McKagan's new song, "Chip Away," is a lament on how history repeats itself. The Guns N' Roses bassist sings about how cable news channels enflame the political spectrum and aggravate our country's problems.

Tenderness will be available everywhere May 31. You can preorder it here.

McKagan revealed the title track, "Tenderness," from the album last month. Singer/songwriter Shooter Jennings, who produced McKagan this time around, called it "a really important record."

McKagan has announced a handful of solo shows this spring to support the album. You can see all the dates here.

Guns N' Roses is expected to reconvene later this summer or fall to work on new material.
