The MC5 was one of the most political and influential bands of the 60s and early 70s.  Their proto-punk sound came before The Ramones or the Sex Pistols.  Their politics were just as radical as Rage Against the Machine or System of a Down.

On Thursday, Guitarist Wayne Kramer joins Nikki and Jenn in the Sixx Sense studio to talk about his latest world-changing endeavor.  It's called JAIL GUITAR DOORS USA.  The organization provides musical instruments and opportunities to help rehabilitate prisoners. They also partner with social service groups to help people in prison reconnect with the outside world.  To raise money for Jail Guitar Doors, Wayne has launched a PLEDGE MUSIC Campaign, where fans can get their hands on great memorabilia and special opportunities.
